Best marathons in October

Autumn has come to its full power in October. So are we – reaching the high time of our running year! What a beautiful time to run! Enjoy running in the most colorful month of the year! These gorgeous runs are worth of traveling even from far away!

Start October with fun!
- Check the Devil’s trail in the Netherlands.
- Run with cheers at Wineglass marathon in New York state.
- Celebrate the great Fall – the Berlin wall fall – running & walking through German villages of North Rhine Westphalia.

You owe to be in Alps, in Black Forest for the 2^nd weekend of October:
- Take your 2^nd half for romantic full moon walk at fairytale Eltz Castle in Germany.
- Explore Austrian Alps during Tour de Tirol.
- Admire nature changing colors at the most colorful run of the year – the Schwarzwald marathon (Black Forest, Germany).
- Struggle to choose between Austria, Switzerland and Germany? Come to Konstanz lake and run all 3 countries at Sparkasse Marathon der 3 Lander.

Mid October – get ready to stop in awe of admiration:)
- Awe on power of nature at Niagara Falls international marathon. Ensure to have your papers ready for crossing border : )
- Rock’n’Roll along the coastline at one of the most gorgeous and picturesque marathons in the world in Lisbon
- Test yourself at Spires & Steeples Challenge in British Lincoln
- Run under narrow houses hanging over canals of Amsterdam. TCS Amsterdam marathon is one of my favorite runs, probably because it’s my way to celebrate my birthday:)

Run North to finish October
- Come to misty UK for the mysterious time of the year:)
  - 300 steps, 14 gates, steep Seven Sisters Cliffs, the highest chalk sea cliffs of the UK - See the UK’s highest chalk sea – It’s the Beachy Head Marathon in East Essex
  - Run, walk and have fun in the world’s most cheerful country at Dublin marathon
- Choose between Green sleeves and Green Land. Go extreme! Touch the North Polar circle. Test yourself at Polar Circle marathon!
